Wow!! It’s taken quite a bit of work and a lot of time to get the blog to this point (many thanks to my husband!) and I’m so excited it is finally underway.

Here is a short introduction about me and my business, Moon Over Maize…..

My name is Monica and I am happily married to my British husband with whom I have had two lovely children with. I am blessed to be able to stay at home with my two little ones and while they’re napping and sleeping at night is when I am able to tend to my jewelry designing and creating.

Moon Over Maize started a year ago. I have been making jewelry for many years and finally got up the nerve to try and sell it. It’s been a lot of work for both my husband and I, but it’s been so worthwhile! You may wonder what this blog will entail and, to be honest, I’m not entirely sure. What I do know is that being a work-at-home-Mom is never dull and I’m bound to have a few fun stories to share. I am also planning on having a monthly giveaway so please check back often to see what we’ve been up to!

It was designed by my good friend Connie and I and has been a big hit. You can choose any word/words you like as long as it is 10 letters or less. The stones used are chrysoprase, aquamarine and apatite. Together they create a beautiful medley of colors.
